When we went to Irkutsk, we were supposed to at first go to a dacha on Lake Baikal for two days. Well...that didn't work out. So instead, we spent three full days in Irkutsk. But it was great to have the time to just relax and walk around...

So that's what we did, walked all around the city. Early on we met a guy named Igor, a Jehovah's Witness, who showed us all around the city one day. Nice guy, and he only preached to us in short little spells.

Not every house in Irkutsk is so neat and tidy.

They do have a little mercantile street in Irkutsk, kind the pedestrian shopping areas in Europe. A nice place to grab a beer and people-watch.
