This is behind the church you see on Page 4, it's the end of the architecture museum.

So here you see the steamship Angara. Named after the river Angara, the only one flowing out of Lake Baikal. The ship was made in England, dis-assembled, shipped to Lake Baikal, and re-assembled. I guess it's the first steam-powered vessel that sailed on the lake.

So one day for fun, we hired a nice spiffy motorboat to take us out to Listvyanka, a village right near the mouth of the Angara river, on Lake Baikal.
