Actually, the second act wasn't so bad. It wasn't so great, but it was marginally interesting. The last third and final act was so much like the first, I wondered why they bothered, they should have quit while they were ahead.

And here's the mighty battleship Aurora. It fired the blank shot that alerted the Bolsheviks on land to begin their assault on the Winter Palace, thus bringing down the Provisional Government.

Another long-closed, recently opened cathedral.

And another long-closed, recently-opened cathedral. This one was really cool - two stories. The bottom story's interior was still being worked on, but the upper story was incredible. I wished I had been able to take pictures, but a service was going on. But it was pretty amazing.
