Train to Beijing / Page 7

 

My uncle asked me to bring him this horn he had purchased in Russia over, so he could play it instead of my guitar. I never actually heard the horn blow, though - I think maybe I forgot to bring a piece over.

What am I smiling about? She'd just slipped her magic train keys into my pocket! So I'm thinking, "What does it mean when a drunk girl slips her keys into your pocket?" And I'm getting dizzy with the possibilities, but of course - hey, it's me! A couple of hours later I return her keys to her and head off to bed. I almost wish I'd kept them, though - would have been a fantastic souvenier, they open everything on the train.

And we bid adieu to these three fellows: Germaine, Bruno, and...? From French Guyana, France, and Belgium. Nice guys, they were off to spend a couple of weeks in China before returning again to Russia for a month long stay in the Moscow area.
